Critter of the Week Chatham Island Snipe

For years Māori mythology talked of the Hakawai, a great mysterious bird with a ferocious call. Turns out these very loud noises were made by a very small bird, the snipe, says Doc's Nicola Toki. Today on Critter of the Week we celebrate the Chatham Island Snipe!
