A new perspective for suicide prevention strategies

From Afternoons, 1:12 pm on 11 March 2021

Otago University researchers are calling for a new perspective for suicide prevention strategies and interventions.

They found by going online and engaging with people at the onset of a suicidal crisis helped to stop them taking their own lives.

Phd Candidate in the Department of Psychology, Andrew Mason, is the study's lead author, he explains to Jesse what they would like to see change.
