There's a pest issue in the South Island which is causing major grief right across Te Waipounamu. Rabbits are devouring everything in their wake and are a major headache for farmers and conservationists. Newsroom have released a multi part documentary about the issue this week, headed by Newsroom's lead investigations editor Melanie Reid.
Jesse speaks to two subjects of the documentary, Rosalie Goldsworthy from Mōeraki and deer farmer Philip Bunn from the Queenstown Wakatipu Basin about the daily damage they see rabbits causing.
