Dominic Hoey is a poet, author and playwright based in Auckland.
He's a former MC and slam-poetry champion, and has been a youth worker since 2014.
His latest work is the theatre show 45 Cents an Hour had a sold out run in Wellington and opens at Auckland's Basement Theatre on 1 June. He tells us about what he enjoys reading, watching and listening to when he's not working.
