From Afternoons, 1:32 pm on 25 August 2021

Computer lecturer Richard Lobb has been fascinated by computers since the late 60s, when he came across the first mini-computer in the Southern Hemisphere at Auckland University.

After one attempt at retirement, he is still teaching and has just been awarded the Ako Aotearoa Tertiary Teaching Excellence Award.

Dr Lobb, who teaches at Canterbury University, joins Jesse to chat about the award and how technology has changed over the years.
