In three years the number of women working in governance in sport has increased - as organisations reach for a Government set target.
In 2018, a target of having 40 percent women on boards was created as part of the Strategy for Women and Girls in Sport and Active Recreation.
With the December deadline looming - 58 of 64 eligible partner organisations have met the target.
Raelene Castle is the chief executive of Sports New Zealand, and she joins Jesse to discuss this goal.
