More than a Roof is a new collection of poems and prose about housing, published by Landing Press.
There are more than 120 poets in the collection - including acclaimed poets like Tusiata Avia and Apirana Taylor.
There are many newcomers too including transitional housing residents, high school students, and acclaimed architect Roger Walker.
Jesse speaks to Kris Gibb who manages the Wellington City Mission's transitional home in Petone - Te Pā Manawa Britannia House, and contributed a poem to the book.
