Critter of the Week - Takatimu Gecko

This week’s critter is the mysterious Takitimu gecko that lives in the scree slopes and subalpine forests of Southland’s mountains. Its scientific name, Mokopririrakau cryptozoicus means ‘secretive lizard that clings to trees’.
