School kids in Waihi have turned on the charm in a new tourism campaign for their North Island beach town that asks, 'Why Not Waihi?'
In the 30-second video clip the kids visit local tourist hot spots like the goldmine and Karangahake Gorge.
Waihi cameraman and director Scott Spicer helped the kids put it together, and chats to Karyn Hay about the campaign and what locals love most about their town.
