Today, most of the news we hear surrounding ecology and wildlife is doom and gloom.
But Dr Wiebke Finkler decided to approach it from a different angle with her book 'The Science of Hope: Eye to Eye with our World's Wildlife'.
Dr Finkler is a filmmaker and creative storyteller with a background in marine biology and science communication.
Her book was featured in the Scholastic school book magazine has just been awarded the 2021 Foreword Indies Gold Award for Ecology & Environment. She talks to Charlotte about their approach.
