Plastic flatpack wine bottles the new thing

While we may once have turned our noses up at screw-top wine bottles - they're now pretty much the accepted norm.

But what about wine from a plastic bottle?

Plastic flat pack wine bottles are growing in popularity in Australia and across many parts of Europe.

They're made from pre-existing plastic, they're reusable, lightweight, and easier to pack and transport - in fact they're so thin they can be posted through a letter box.

Billed as the wine bottle of the future, they're set to be introduced here in Aotearoa.
