Sprint kayaker Dame Lisa Carrington is our most decorated Olympian of all time.
Between London 2012, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020, she has won a total of five Olympic gold medals and one bronze, along with 10 world championships.
She was promoted to Dame Companion by Queen Elizabeth II in her 2022 New Year Honours for services to canoe racing.
To talk about her illustrious career, which is still far from over, Dame Lisa joins Jesse in the Auckland studio.
