Earlier this month the water ran dry in Kaitangata in South Otago for almost an entire day.
This of course meant the shops, schools, cafes, and the local pool had to close. But at least the pub was left standing!
A bit of ingenuity kept the water running at the Crescent Bar & Grill, meaning it was one of the only public spaces allowed to open on the day.
