We are speaking to Gisborne Mayor Rehette Stoltz about conditions in the Tairawhiti region. We check in with the Hawkes Bay civil defence controller and the NZDF on their critical role in rescuing and aiding supply deliveries.
We also talk to an expert on satellite communications and the importance of these connections during emergency situations being experienced right now.
