The Ninety Mile Beach Snapper competition is in full swing in the far north after last year's event was canclled due to COVID restrictions.
Regarded as the New Zealand's possibly the world's biggest surfcasting competition, it attracts keen up to 1200 anglers from as far afield as Western Australia.
The multi-day event was officially launched on Monday night and finishes up tomorrow with some serious prizes up for grabs.
