A new platform has just been launched for in-depth discussions of books to foster emerging book reviewers from the South Pacific.
It's called The Aotearoa New Zealand Review of Books
We have a book critic on every Tuesday, but places where people might traditionally go for book reviews like newspapers, are making less and less room for book reviews.
The editor of the Aotearoa New Zealand Book review is Paula Morris, of Ngāti Wai, Ngāti Manuhiri, Ngāti Whātua. She's also an author and associate professor at the University of Auckland, she joins Jesse.
