The over 70 countries are gearing up to compete at the 26th World Championships of Performing Arts in LA this year.
It's often been cited as the Official "Talent Olympics" and is broadcast on TV in the US.
Sean is doing a fundraising event to help with the costs to get him to LA at Biddy's Irish Pub in Hamilton on Saturday 22nd April.
New Zealand has a team heading over this year, and it includes 16 year old Hamilton guitarist Sean Lurman, he talks to Jesse.
