You'd struggle to find someone who grew up in Hawkes' Bay and didn't go on a tractor ride to see the gannets at Cape Kidnappers.
Earlier this month, Gannet Beach Adventures announced its closure. The tour was established in 1952 and it was a difficult decision for co-owners Colin and Kim Lindsday have been running the tours for the last 25 years.
Colin speaks to Jesse about the call to shut down the unique tourism operation.
