The Muriwai Deli is just one of many businesses that was affected by Cyclone Gabrielle earlier this year.
Unable to open shop, they have been doing a range of things to stay a float - running bread making workshops, anything to keep the business financially viable.
The family run deli has now finally re-opened over the past weekend, bringing their popular offerings of fresh bread and doughnuts, amongst other things, back to locals.
