Unsurprisingly the regions food businesses certainly hope so.
As part of an effort to boost food tourism, the regions producers have teamed up to launch the Taste Of Taranaki Producers map.
The map, which is available from today, aims to showcase the regions breweries, wineries, bakers, coffee roasters and more.
The map's creator Jules Van Costello speaks to Mark.
