The art of wig making and the act of wig wearing is as old as hats.

At certain stages of history people preferred to just chuck on a perfumed wig instead of taking care of their own hair.

Today wigs are more often associated with costume parties and dressing-up, but for many people a wig or hairpiece can mean the difference between high and low-self esteem, for both men and women experiencing hair loss.

Jesse speaks to Andy Alsop of Arthur Andrews. He's quite probably New Zealand's best men's wig, toupee and hairpiece connoisseur.
