Thousands of people took to the streets yesterday for the annual Auckland Round the Bays run.
The iconic event weaves its way 8 kilometres around the city's waterfront and is set to held in Christchurch for the first time at the end of this month.
Among the runners yesterday was James Carrick who was able to do the run thanks to Lydia White, who is a guide for blind and low vision runners.
