Abbey Road Studios

Earlier this week we ran the story about the world-famous Abbey Road Studios in London going up for sale. Reports suggest that the owners, EMI, want to raise money to reduce its debts. But, as BBC music critic David Hepworth reports, Abbey Road is just the latest in a long line of iconic studios who are falling victim to financial hardship and changes in recording technology.
