Irvin Gordon watches the odometer on his 1966 Volvo tick over; secure in the knowledge that no-one else is going to break the record he holds. His red Volvo P1800 two-seater sports coupe is the pride and joy of the retired school teacher from East Patchogue New York, and it's travelled more than 2.8 million miles.
