Auckland Story for 27 October 2010 - Constable Brigs and Scout

Panmure Community Constable Janet Briggs patrols the reserves throughout the Tamaki area on her 12-year-old horse Scout. On Scout's very first day on patrol, they pursued a man on bicycle who has been wanted for two burglaries. Unable to outride Scout, he was boxed in until back-up arrived and was subsequently arrested.
