One hundred and fifty years ago, so the story goes, the Malin family of London started a tradtion that remains a firm favorite in New Zealand: Fish and chips. Thirteen-year-old Joesph Mailin started frying chips with battered fish at home and selling them to the poor of London's West End. We'll talk to a New Zealand food historian about the New Zealand tradition.
