Student Volunteer Army

Eleven hundred members of the Student Volunteer Army downed tools yesterday after days of backbreaking work, clearing the streets of Christchurch of silt from last weeks 6.3 shake. After observing two minutes silence in memory of those who lost their lives, it was back to work.
