Your Place - Waikawa

From Afternoons, 1:20 pm on 26 May 2011

Today we head to one of New Zealand's famous playgrounds. It's near the sea on one of the most traveled stretches of water in the country, and is one of the fastest growing towns in the Marlborough Sounds. Noted for it's 600 berth marina, one of the largest outside of Auckland, it's also the place of departure to many of the Bays and inlets in the area, and is known as the Gateway to the Sounds. We talk to locals Ann Shrimpton, Mark Horgan and Mike Vining.
