Providing sanctuary for domestic rats

New Zealand Rat Rescue started in 2008 to take in unwanted, dumped, pregnant and surrendered domestic rats. Trudi Hazlitt-Black, one of many volunteers around the country who take in the rats, says they are intelligent and playful creatures, worthy of our love and respect.
