Foxton beach may not be at the top of your bucket list, but a visit here may surprise you. Thirty years ago, development of this area took off with a number of holiday homes being erected on what had become a forgotten part of the coast. Today it's a community of more than 2000 people, popular with retirees, and even more popular at holiday time.
