Golf Clubs

The description of a set of golf clubs up for auction at Sotheby's in London claims they are "probably the earliest known examples of traditional hand-crafted club-making from New Zealand". But New Zealand golf pro and historian John Evans doesn't think the clubs were made in New Zealand. He thinks they were probably brought here at the end of the 19th century.
