Acclaimed American sports journalist Frank DeFord on the little know history of the Olympics. GQ has called him the world's greatest sportswriter. Frank Deford's career stats include 50 years with Sports Illustrated magazine, where he is the Senior Contributing writer, 16 books, and Six Sportswriter of the year awards. He's written a new book, Over Time: My Life as a Sportswriter that chronicles his remarkable career and the athletes he has been privileged to write about, including one of his favorites, Sir Edmund Hillary.
