The best beach in New Zealand, say the Bay of Plenty locals, and located just 6 kilometers east of Whakatane. Many visitors think the same way. Such a popular holiday destination. Not quite as much in the middle of winter but come summer this tiny seaside settlement's population swells to about four times it's usual size.
