Diwali Festival

It's India's biggest and most important festival, Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights - a Hindu celebration of the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil. The Auckland Diwali Festival will bring thousands of people to Aotea Square this weekend for a taste of Indian vegetarian food, along with colorful crafts and art work and cultural performances.
