Saving McCahon's Kauri trees

The Auckland suburb of Titirangi is well known for its dense bush surrounds and towering Kauri trees. Titirangi is also the place where one of our most celebrated artists, Colin McCahon, called home for many years but the Kauri trees at McCahon's cottage and throughout the Waitakere ranges are in trouble.
