AT THE MOVIES #773 ONCE UPON A TIME
Dan Slevin watches three new releases including the ninth feature film by idiosyncratic auteur Quentin Tarantino.
In Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt star as a fading TV Western star and his stunt double as they navigate the changes in Tinseltown in 1969 and confront Charles Manson’s “family”.
A Dog’s Journey is a sequel to the 2017 hit A Dog’s Purpose in which a pooch with a talent for reincarnation discovers why he keeps coming back. In the new film, the dog has a second and third generation to look after.
And Herbs: Songs of Freedom is Tearepa Kahi’s Kiwi music follow-up to the smash hit Poi E.
