It’s coming up to that time of the year when New Zealand’s film fanatics brace themselves for an onslaught of over 100 of the best, the most engaging and perplexing, the most confronting and comforting movies of the year - films from around the world and a great collection from Aotearoa, not to mention Senegal, Mongolia, Taiwan, Finland and who knows where.  

 

Simon Morris is joined by New Zealand International Film Festival General Manager Sally Woodfield for an overview of the 2023 selection, including the Palme D'Or winner of the Cannes Festival, French film Anatomy of a Fall.
