Stats NZ says gross domestic product rose a seasonally adjusted 1-point-7 percent in the three months ended June after output declined by 0-point-2-percent in prior quarter. A local freight forwarding company is warning shipping costs are unlikely to return to pre-Covid levels and says congestion remains a major problem at major ports.
