California jolted by 6.4 earthquake

Southern California has been jolted by its most powerful earthquake in 25 years. The 6.4-magnitude quake touched off fires, damaged buildings and forced the evacuation of a hospital in a desert town northeast of Los Angeles, but it seems there were only minor injuries. Conway Gittens reports.
