Poor facilities and under-resourcing at Palmerston North Hospital left a nurse in tears daily, ultimately leading her to resign.
Her claims are being backed by the Nurses Organisation who says the problems at Mid-Central District Health Board are pushing people to breaking point.
This comes after eighty senior doctors wrote to the DHB complaining about what they describe as the inadequate state of the hospital and the harm it is causing patients.
