While much of the focus has been on Concert FM, the chief executives of the two broadcasting companies heading for a merger - RNZ and TVNZ - have been talking about what the future might look like.
A business case to create a new super public broadcasting entity is underway, after Cabinet sign off in late January.
The plan is for a public broadcaster that would be get government funding, but would also be able to raise commercial revenue.
Executives from RNZ and TVNZ turned up to Parliament for their regular check-in with MPs, and there was plenty to talk about.
