A Southland man who stole two police-issued pistols and a patrol car, triggering a manhunt has been sentenced to more than three years in prison.
Hori Gemmell was arrested in Te Tipua, near Gore in last August.
This afternoon, the 24-year-old was sentenced in Invercargill District Court on a raft of charges.
