A man has been charged with the murder of an Auckland woman on Friday morning, in the wake of an explosion that woke a suburb.
Mt Roskill residents woke up to the noise and a large plume of black smoke lifting off a property on May Road.
The police launched a homicide investigation and have now charged a 29-year-old man with murder.
