A bunch of us are hanging out for the social freedoms of level 2 maybe a few drinks with buddies, or even a previously outlawed party.
Businessman Leo Molloy is one of them. He is planning a level 2 party for 100 at his Auckland viaduct bar and restaurant Headquarters and he has ambitiously locked in Friday May 15 as the date just four days after cabinet is due to decide if and when New Zealand drops down another alert level.
Existing guidelines for alert level 2 allow inside gatherings of up to 100 people - as long as they maintain social distancing - and keep a metre apart.
Leo Molloy says he's already been in touch with police to make sure it all runs smoothly. He talks to Lisa Owen.
