New Zealanders have been given a glimpse of Alert Level One - their efforts under lockdown finally bearing fruit - near normality on the horizon.
But for many, it hasn't come quick enough - the Opposition want level 1 now. The National Party has heaped pressure on the government to move quicker, demanding the Prime Minister take charge and drop all the restrictions.
