Opposition National Party has brought in its pollster to brief MPs in a bid to discredit this week's devastating public poll result.
And MPs are already leaking the party's supposed internal numbers to media. It comes as the party hits yet another road bump - with a photo circulating of National's teen candidate appearing to impersonate Hitler.
