The Transport Agency has been forced to fork out another $208 million to get Wellington's billion dollar highway, Transmission Gully, back on track.
The road has now blown the budget by more than $400 million. It was initially set to cost $850 million, but now has a $1.25 billion price tag for the taxpayer.
And now the Transport Minister has ordered a review, and is questioning the agreement drawn up by the previous government.
