Papatoetoe High School Principal Vaughan Couillault told Checkpoint it is a tough week for everyone around the school community, but they are there to offer support.
He said he has a skeleton crew of staff helping to supply students with devices so they can learn from home.
He also discusses the communication from health officials about Covid-19 and lockdown rules, and he says all staff at the school are on the same page regarding getting the Covid-19 vaccine.
