The Ever Given ship has been partially refloated, after days of being stubbornly wedged in the Suez Canal.
Diggers trying to free the the ship removed 27,000 cubic metres of sand.
While that's good news for global shipping routes, there are now fears it could set off a domino effect in New Zealand's shipping supply chains.
Importers and exporters are already preparing for months' worth of headaches.
