A central Dunedin Countdown remains closed a day on from a knife attack that left four people in hospital.
Police have today praised the supermarket staff, customers and emergency services for their swift action - saying it saved lives.
This afternoon a 42-year-old man appeared in court facing four charges of attempted murder.
